OUR FOUNDER
Hey, my name is Kate.
I am the founder of Considered Store.
I am a self taught ceramicist, botanical dyer and crafter who fell in love with making things by hand and the tranquility and mindfulness that it brings.
I created Considered Store to be a destination to fall back in love with handcrafted things, to slow down and appreciate the simpler things in life.
When we choose to buy from talented makers and artists, we are supporting something important, the art of learning a skill, perfecting it, practicing it and giving your time for that art.
In a world that moves fast and is filled ith so much mass produced items, it is a rebellious act is to stand still and choose the alternative. There is power in choosing handmade and choosing small business.
Everything we buy has a story, let's make it unique, and let's support small makers.
